Rank Math is the system of record for titles, descriptions, focus keywords, and the SEO meta that schema output depends on. If a migration only copies post_title and content, rankings and rich-result fields are left behind. The Import WP Rank Math add-on reads those values from CSV or XML and writes them into Rank Math on each post, page, CPT, or product.

Import Rank Math SEO from CSV
Map Rank Math title, description, and focus keyword on Template Fields the same way you map the post title. Bulk import Rank Math meta titles when the sheet is the copy deck; use a unique key (slug, SKU, ID) so updates land on existing URLs.
A “migrate Rank Math to a new WordPress site” job is usually: export from the old site (or a crawl sheet), import posts with the core template, and map Rank Math columns in the same run. Two importers (content, then SEO) only help when the posts already exist and you are patching meta.
Sync Rank Math schema-related meta
Rank Math’s on-page schema uses the SEO fields and any extra meta you configured (article type, product values, robots, canonicals). Import the columns you actually have. Do not invent schema JSON in the CSV unless your process already stores it — the add-on is for Rank Math’s fields, not a generic JSON-LD dumper.
After import, spot-check a post in Rank Math’s editor and in the front-end source. If titles look right in wp-admin but not on the site, the theme or another SEO plugin is overriding Rank Math — remove the duplicate plugin rather than re-importing.
Rank Math vs Yoast on the same site
Pick one SEO plugin. If the site is Yoast, use the Yoast SEO importer. Mapping both on one importer will fight over the same intent (title, description, social).
